Adopt Us!

HorseNet Horse Rescue is a certified 501 (c)(3) nonprofit horse rescue and rehabilitation facility with two locations in Maryland. We DO NOT sell horses, but facilitate the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of those animals in our care. We do have some permanent residents, but strive to adopt out as many animals as possible to loving informed homes. We are 100% volunteer run and operate solely on donations. We specialize in the care of seniors and blind horses, but will accept animals, when space allows, surrendered by private owners or through state animal control facilities in any condition from any location. ADOPTION AREA: Maryland residents or individuals residing within 2.5 hours our Mt Airy Farm. We make no exceptions to this policy. (Map a distance)

Horse Donations: We are not taking any horses at this time - we are full.

Mini Walk for our Many Horses
A special THANK YOU to everyone who came out to HorseNet ’s 2nd annual Mini Walk for Our Many Horses. The walk was a big success!! Together we raised much needed funds to help car e for our rescued horses. Please check out our May newsletter for a recap of the walk. Fundraisers

Join our 2008 $10 Pledge Campaign
HorseNet is looking for 400 people to donate $10 a month. In doing so, those pledges will be enough to cover the rent at our 3 farms. If you would like to join our campaign, click the orange Donate button, you will be directed to the Network for Good giving cart. Follow the directions to donate and make sure that under Donation Preferences you check for it to be a monthly donation.

Donation towards farrier services - please mail checks to Steve -- WS Farrier Svc, PO Box 360, Great Cacapon, WV 25422. Checks should be make payable to WS Farrier Svc and noted that they should be applied to HorseNet's account.

3) Shop HorseNet and our Affiliates - These companies / individuals have agreed to donate a % of their sales to HorseNet, so shop / do home improvement / close a home loan / get a web site and make money for HorseNet.
